The best things in life are free

Denon 9400

This was the first thing I programmed on the Pronto so take that into consideration when looking through the code! ;)

The main reason I stopped development was it just didn't deliver the Network Audio experience I was really after. But after using it recently and it talking to TwonkyVision vs Windows Media connect I have to say it's A LOT better than I remember when I last used it. So the issue was more Windows Media connect than the Denon.

However if your still not happy with your network audio experience after trying this maybe move to ProntoSqueeze or ProntoTunes!

I'm offering this for free but this comes with no guarantees and little/no support. This also shouldn't be packaged up and resold if you do make and changes / enhancements I'd love to see what you've done.

9400 XCF (zip) (200k)

Overview page shows you what's running, if you have different devices you just name the buttons the same as the response codes from the Denon. So the prontoscript name for the TV button for Zone 1 is Z1TV.

From here you can see what is on in all 3 zones, the volume levels and what effect your using in Zone1.

Radio/Tuner module shows you what radio station your currently tuned into. To change channel you can simply just type the number. It figures out by what you've typed if it's AM or FM. You can also get access to your presets by simply press the letter then the number.

NOTE for this to work you need to have TUNER selected in atleast 1 zone.

Network Audio module you've heard me mention it now you can see it and try it out yourselves. It is a bit sluggish compared to ProntoSqueeze but thats due to the response times from the AMP.. And yes you can certainly see this is where I started before I moved on to ProntoSqueeze a little deja vu with the look :)

NOTE for this to work you need to have AUX/NET selected in atleast 1 zone.
