ProntoTunes

ProntoTunes has been a joint development effort between Simon 'Wireshark' Post and myself. Simon had started working on this over a year ago as he has several AppleTV's around his house. He was in need of a user interface so 7 months ago we decided to work together to bring something to the Pronto community that was desperately needed. With a lot of hard work, a ridiculous number of hours, an 8.5 hour time zone difference and some very very late nights analysing data, we have managed to bring you ProntoTunes.

ProntoTunes provides owners of the the latest generation of Philips remote controls the ability to communicate with 1st Generation AppleTV (white/silver version NOT the small black version) and iTunes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

ProntoTunes is NOT compatible with AppleTV 2nd Generation, we received confirmation of this on the 1st October 2010. You can however still use the New AppleTV with iTunes as an Airport to listen to music.
